It is officially summer and its hot, hot, HOT! The tomato plant is very happy about that. The leeks are growing along, getting bigger. We had a fun trip around the north bay a few weeks back to celebrate my birthday, although its in December. Safari west was a blast and downtown Santa Rosa was super nice! We got some amazingly delicious loaves of bread from
Wild Flour Bakery. Their hospitality reminded how great the world can be and that all faith is not lost in man kind! Great people. We got some squash seedlings from a friend that we got planted to today and sectioned off so Sparrow the "goat" (actually a dog) doesn't get in to them and drag them outta the ground as he's known for. There is also a new addition to our little family here: Alice the Leopard gecko! She is 7 years old and as sweet as can be. Tomorrow we will be going to View the infamous corpus flower in Davis! Wish our noses luck!
